OH MY! I'm a big boy!

Okay so I knew the time was coming. About a month ago, we moved Cameron into Alek's room to get the other room ready for baby. We also decided to keep Cameron in his crib in his new room because (a) I didn't want to have to chase him around the house at night and (b) I didn't want him in my room at the crack of dawn. This was a great idea so we thought. Until last weekend when he did the swan dive out of his crib onto his head. So out to shop and buy the big boy (toddler bed) we were hoping to wait until summer for.

So things were pretty good for the first week. He was so proud of his bed and shows everyone who comes over. He stayed in his bed and listened pretty well. He did get up a few times during nap time, but the baby gate has helped that idea. UNTIL....the past few nights I have found this.....
This is cute don't you think? And it is what I have been finding every night lately. Then last night at 3:30 am I hear him calling "Mama, Mama". After I got my pregnant sciatica in check and got over the gate I realized that I couldn't find Cameron anywhere. I called his name repeatedly and then woke up Alek to find out where Cameron was. It was then that I heard him call me again.....from under his bed. Now keep in mind that the bed is only about 6 inches off the ground. He had crawled under there and gotten stuck. At 3:30 am this wasn't that funny but as I lay in bed and try to go back to sleep it became more and more funny. I only wish now that I could have captured this on camera.! Hopefully I can get him better adjusted soon. I only have 10 more weeks until my sleep is totally gone so I need to enjoy it now!

Hehe haha... I threw a matress on the floor for mine so she never got stuck under her bed.....but I was pregnant either!

Unfortunately I still to this day find her sleeping on the floor periodically and she can get in and out of her bed.

Escape artist! That happened to Chris once--only he was still asleep and I couldn't find him anywhere-I was freaking out--visions of Charles Lindbergh's child!

I used to find Hannah asleep right outside my bedroom door. I guess she knew better than to wake me up!

Cameron is just way too cute!
